 3 Bands
If you could only listen to the music of 3 bands/groups/singers/whatever for the rest of your life, who would they be?
Keep in mind this is a lifetime of ONLY these groups' music. So, think twice before posting about that awesome band you have friended on your MySpace because of one single on the radio.
3 Bands. That's it. Give reasons if you want to. And there will be absolutely NO flaming of anyone's choices. Keep discussion civil.
My choices:
Apocalyptica
Nine Inch Nails
Barenaked Ladies
NIN and Apocalyptica both have huge libraries of music, and when I'm feeling tired of the harder stuff, Apocalyptica has tons of plain instrumentals, and NIN has some slower songs. But, the real break is the Barenaked Ladies, for when I'm just feeling like listening to some fun, easy to sing-along to music.

Pink Floyd
Frank Zappa/Mothers of Invention
The Who
Floyd. Just couldn't go the rest of my life without listening to all 3 parts of "Shine on You Crazy Diamond" notr to mention "Money" and the whole "Animals" album.
Zappa-probably the greatest guitarest EVER and his ability to be dark and funny. + good Jazz and Bee-Bop and hard stuff.
The Who? well 2 words. Quadro-Phenia!!!!"

You're insanely awesome.
1. Pink Floyd 2. Coheed and Cambria 3. NaS
Pink Floyd - Same as MetalHero, I really couldn't live without listening to them. Especially "Time" or "Wish You Were Here" (the song and album), or "Money", omg I would miss "Us and Them" so bad. Ok yeah, I don't want to think about it.
Coheed and Cambria - I've been listening to Coheed from the jump. Just one of those bands that you were when you're young and you fall in love with(no homo).
NaS - Back when I was 6 years old, my brother played the hell out of Illmatic, and ever since then I've been glued to NaS' whole library of music. I actually cried when I saw him leaving the Rock Da Bells concert after it got canceled. Yeah... I get emotional about my music. T_T

Actually, it has more to do with the fact I very rarely like more than a single song by a single band/artist. I'd reach a point within 20 minutes of no longer wanting to hear specific artists for the rest of my life. Make-shift instruments made of sticks, rocks, etc. to create my own music is much more appealing.

It really depends. I get in moods where I don't want to hear the band's I really love.
Right now though:
1. Rise Against
2. Billy Talent
3. Alkaline Trio

Pink Floyd
The Beatles
Incubus/Foo Fighters (which would also include Nirvana by association)
And suicide would be the next best option. But, if you're going to kill yourself, be creative. You don't want the Coroner sayin, you're going it wrong

I find it funny that you guys think the music has to be playing 24/7. This isn't hell, you know. Its just that WHEN you want to listen to music, it has to be these three bands.
